The home care process - how to get started with Burley's Family Home Care
Burley’s strive to make the home care process clear and straightforward. We will work with you to ensure you know exactly what will happen every step of the way.
The first thing to do is get in touch with us. You can either call us for a chat, or make an enquiry online about our home care process. We have an experienced and friendly management team who will be happy to address any concerns you might have from the outset, and explain what your options will be.
- We will speak with you, and any relevant family members, to talk through the care arrangements you currently have, and identify what level of care is required. This will depend on, for instance, how regular or continuous you’d like the care services to be – whether a daily drop-in, or a permanent live-in carer. It may also depend on how complex your needs are, such as, if there is an illness, disability or medical requirement that we should be aware of. In this instance, we have teams of highly-trained, experienced, compassionate staff who can offer the appropriate level of care and companionship.
- We can also visit you at your home – free of charge - to make an assessment and learn more about what your care needs are. This will be helpful for you too, to check whether you think we’re a good fit.
If you choose Burley’s Home Care to provide your care needs, we’ll work with you to decide on a start date that suits you. We will arrange to visit your home at a convenient time to sign up with us, based on your individual requirements and circumstances. We’ll be here to answer any questions along the way, and do everything we can to be sure you’re confident in your choice.
