At Burley’s Home Care, we offer two categories of Live in Care – Fully Managed and Self-Managed.

We understand that each person’s circumstances are unique, and the care that is best suited to them will be different to the care that another person requires. Our main goal is to ensure that every individual gets the care that they deserve, in the comfort of their own home.

Fully Managed Live In Care Service

Fully managed live in care means that we will work with you and your loved one(s) from the start to create a custom live in care plan, providing you with extra peace of mind that your wishes are being met.

Once this care plan is established, we can then pair you with a live in carer that is the best match for you and your family. We will then continue to be on hand to manage any changes in circumstances, additional requests, and offer any other support you may need.

We maintain a high level of involvement, ensuring that you only receive the highest possible quality of care.

Introductory Care Service (Self-Managed)

If you opt for an introductory care service (self-managed), we will introduce you with a fully checked, approved self-employed carer.

This option is typically chosen by people who are able to manage their own care, or who have family who are willing to do this for them. Often, self-managed live in care clients are perhaps looking for companionship or smaller amounts of personal care, rather than more complex support.

Because our involvement in the ongoing care and responsibility for the carer will be limited, this option tends to be cheaper than fully managed live in care. A proportion of the weekly cost of live-in care is paid to us at Burley’s Home Care and covers the cost of the ongoing selection and introduction process.
