Burley's celebrates Good CQC Inspection

We underwent an unannounced inspection recently and received ‘good’ ratings in all five areas of inspection - safe, effective, care, responsive and well-led, which we are very proud.

Launched in 2009 by Paul and Carly Burley, Burley’s Home Care has established a reputation for its personal service and transparent approach to offering the highest standards of care to those that wish to remain in their own home but are unable to care for themselves.

“Having experienced the pitfalls of larger care companies previously, our philosophy right from the outset with Burley’s has been about being on the ground, meeting our clients personally so that we develop a relationship with each and every one of them. We passionately believe in the importance of consistency in care and we take many measures to ensure that the same carer visits every day, and that there is a friendly face to oversee the care plan” explained Director Paul Burley.

Providing a wide range of care services including live in care, dementia, end of life, palliative and respite care, Burley’s home care service covers Ringwood and Fordingbridge, as well as Ferndown, West Moors, Verwood, Christchurch and New Milton. They also have a base in Taunton to offer personalised home care to families in the Taunton and Wellington areas of Devon.

Highlights from the recent CQC inspection included positive feedback from clients and family members about the service such as “all people who used the service expressed great satisfaction and spoke highly of the care staff. People and their families told us they felt safe and secure when receiving care.”

“We are delighted to have been rated as ‘good’ by the CQC. It’s testament to our hardworking and dedicated team of carers who consistently deliver the highest levels of care at all times.”

Burley’s Home Care is expanding to meet with current demand for their care at home service. They are currently on a recruitment drive to appoint more home care and support workers over the next six months.
