About The Role
As a home care assistant, you’ll help elderly clients live comfortably at home while promoting their independence and well-being. Your duties will include:
Assisting with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Offering companionship to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
Helping clients attend appointments and remain active with gentle exercise.
Helping clients attend appointments and remMonitoring well-being, updating care plans, and liaising with healthcare professionals.
Supporting daily tasks like shopping and keeping records for family updates.
With visits lasting at least an hour, you’ll have time to build meaningful relationships and deliver top-quality care that truly makes a difference.
Who We’re Looking For
No experience is necessary.
We are looking for:
- A caring, compassionate and reliable individual who is willing to give their best
- A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those you care for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to use own initiative and make independent decisions where appropriate
- A valid driving license and access to a car is also essential

The role of a Support care worker can vary each day, you will have duties that include but are not limited to:
- providing companionship and emotional support to those in need
- delivering personalised care to Service Users
- Manage light household tasks like laundry and shopping

- Promote service users to remain independent and active
