I founded Burley’s Home Care in 2009 along with my wife, Carly. We have a profound passion for the care industry. Having faced health and social challenges within my own family, my mission is to prevent others from encountering the same obstacles and decline in the care sector. Throughout the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in navigating the care industry. Today, I am here to provide unwavering support and guidance as you embark on your journey to care for your loved one. You can trust me to be there every step of the way.
Hello, I’m Carly Burley, co-founder and Registered Manager of Burleys Home Care. With more than 15 years in care, I’m proud to lead a family-run service that supports people to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes. Whether it’s a friendly weekly visit or 24-hour care, our team is here to deliver the kind of support we’d want for our own loved ones—personal, respectful, and genuinely caring.
Erin comes to us with a strong business and operational background of experience within the care industries both in the NHS and with small and large private care organisations from across the world. Her expertise lies in transformation, digital enablement and improving outcomes. Born into a large family, many of her family are living all over the world now and she appreciates the role a care companion has to play looking after our loved ones, and how impactful a proactive and personalised approach can be with those that we love and cherish but can’t be close to all the time. Erin is a passionate advocate of SMART working and fostering a positive culture of collaboration and learning within a team and is always looking forwards to promote best practice and protect the business vision and goals.
I started in care during the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly found a real passion for helping others. With five years’ experience—progressing from carer to team leader and now coordinator—I love supporting people to live independently at home. I’m especially passionate about dementia care, and proud to be a Dementia Friend and part of Burleys’ close-knit local team.
With over 20 years in the care sector, I support clients to live safely and independently in the place they love most—their home. I’m proud to be part of a local, trusted team delivering person-centred care with dignity, compassion, and full commitment to quality and CQC standards.
Adrienne brings extensive experience in recruitment, having worked in both in-house and agency environments, as well as internationally in her role as a Talent Acquisition Manager. She has recruited across a wide range of sectors, including significant experience within the Care Sector, and is highly committed to supporting candidates in securing roles that align with their skills and aspirations. Adrienne has a strong focus on staff onboarding and development, ensuring new team members receive a positive and supportive experience, whether they are beginning a new career or pursuing a new professional challenge. She looks forward to recruiting new care staff for Burley’s Home Care and contributing to the continued growth and expansion of the team in 2026.

“I started working at Burley’s Home Care a couple of years ago. I had been working in a care home for a number of years and felt that I wanted a change and to work in the community instead of being in just one place all the time. Burley’s Home Care fully supported me into my role and I was also able to study for my NVQ level 3. which I completed whilst working. Paul and Carly have always been very supportive of any qualifications or career progression. I now have the best of both worlds, supporting people and then working one day a week in the office to help with the scheduling team.”
“I really enjoyed working with children for a number of years before I became a home carer. I saw an advert for a care worker position also offering an NVQ and training program and felt compelled to apply. In my interview, I was told what the training program involved and that I would have a mentor to support me. On my first day I was introduced to the lovely lady who was going to support me through my training and I felt really relaxed and excited to get started. I’ve met some amazing people and people that I would never have met in any other job. One of my favourite days was taking one of my clients on a shopping trip to buy an outfit for a family wedding. I also helped them get ready on the day which was very special.”
“I have recently started as a domiciliary carer for Burleys Home Care and I would like to say how rewarding I am finding the position. I retired from the corporate world last year and find working as a home carer so refreshing and a complete change of pace. The work is all about caring for others and I’m enjoying being in the position of being kind and helpful at this stage of my life.
