Burley’s Home Care is a Family Run Company
We are Paul and Carly Burley and the company’s name is our surname (yes, the same as the village in the New Forest!) We are a husband and wife team and are still as passionate and ambitious about our company as we have been from the start.
I am a Ringwood girl and I have always loved the area and being a part of the community. Paul originally comes from Canterbury in Kent. We met each other at university in 2002 and married in 2007. We have both had our own experiences in care. I gained knowledge and experience through working for a large care organisation after finishing my degree at Southampton University and Paul through care provided to his family members.
Each of us felt there were flaws within the services provided and often the empathy and person at the centre was lost. We were passionate about setting up a company that would provide a person-centred holistic approach that put the service user at the very heart of what we do ensuring their wishes and voices are always heard, empowering them to be in control of their care package and their desire to stay at home for as long as possible.
We set up the company in 2009 in the name of Burleys Domestic Services.
We wanted to establish foundations and get the wheels in motion of starting a new company before we registered and offered a service catering for higher needs. We’ve always been about getting something right from the very beginning. Once we were confident of how our domestic services were running and with the need for more care related services, we registered with the CQC and successfully transitioned to Burleys Home Care with the ambition to provide care services the right way.
Moving to the Coach House
We previously resided in an office in Christchurch Road, Ringwood but due to the expansion of our team and offering in house training we found ourselves at maximum capacity. Most of our records back then were paper based and took up a lot of space!
In our search to move premises we luckily found the Coach House where we are currently based. It’s a beautiful historic building in a fantastic location within the Ringwood town centre. The building itself if packed full of history and character just like ourselves!
Striving to be the best in our industry
Burleys Home Care has evolved positively over the 15 years, and we have provided premium personalised care services to many incredible people within our local community, which have cemented our core values which motivates us to continue the work that we do. We are also incredibly proud to have won several awards and have maintained a Good CQC rating from the beginning.
Recently we have refreshed our look with a new logo, new uniforms and a new website. The one thing that hasn’t changed is our philosophy to provide the highest standard of care to our clients and our core values promoting the holistic approach to care.
We continue to strive to be the best in our industry and we are extremely proud of our amazing team and the love and passion that they bring to our service users is second to none.
